Alyson Rosenberg is a Licensed Professional Counselor with more than 20 years of experience working with adults, children, families, couples, and groups. She is a licensed NY and NJ school counselor, having worked in the New York City school system. Upon graduating from her master’s program at Hunter College, Alyson facilitated therapy groups through GroupWORKS for more than 7 years during which time she trained more than 100 guidance counselors in group counseling. Since that time, Alyson has facilitated “here and now” therapy groups in private practice.

Alyson is also a skilled individual clinician, providing a comfortable therapeutic environment, in which clients can use the therapy experience as a “laboratory” for the outside world. Through a strong client-therapist connection, Alyson helps each of her clients expand their level of self-awareness to make positive changes in their lives.

Through her couples and family work, Alyson has helped people understand and work through their family dynamics to live in a more peaceful, comfortable way. In May of 2023, Alyson became a Certified Divorce Mediator, helping couples divorce amicably and saving them the exorbitant expense of divorce attorneys.
