In 2016, the New Jersey Counseling Association invited Dr. West to present at their annual conference, where she delivered her lecture, “Out of the Closets and Into the Streets: Assisting the Coming Out Process for LGBTQ Youth.” Her presentation explored the stages of the coming out process and focused on improving family support and responses for LGBTQ individuals.

Dr. West is committed to creating a supportive, judgment-free space where clients feel safe to explore their thoughts, emotions, and goals. Within this warm and accepting environment, she works with clients to better understand the challenges that brought them to therapy and to develop meaningful strategies for growth, healing, and mental wellness.
