Melanie Wexler, MSW, LSW, is a Licensed Social Worker in the state of New Jersey. She earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Social Work from Monmouth University, graduating cum laude from her undergraduate program and with high honors from her graduate program. Since 2022, Melanie has been providing individual therapy at The Massler Center, where she supports clients across the lifespan in a private practice setting.

During her academic training, Melanie completed internships at Long Branch Senior Center, Psychodrama New Jersey, Affordable Housing Alliance, and Immediate Care Psychiatric Center (ICPC) in Parsippany-Troy Hills. At ICPC, she provided individual and group therapy in intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization settings, working with children, adolescents, young adults, and older adults navigating a wide range of psychiatric challenges.

Melanie is passionate about creating safe, inclusive spaces for the LGBTQIA+ community and has a particular interest in empowering teens as they explore identity development, relationships, and the complexities of adolescence. Her areas of practice include working with children, teens, young adults, and individuals managing anxiety, depression, mood disorders,attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and challenges related to completing activities of daily life.

She believes that mental health deserves the same attention as physical health and is committed to providing a supportive, inclusive space free of judgment or prejudice.
